Peak performance starts with what's under your feet. The VULCAN EPDM Black mat is engineered for serious training. A premium rubber tile built on a base of upcycled shoe-sole rubber that delivers an odourless, shock-absorbent, wear-resistant foundation. Handles dropped plates, heavy deadlifts, snatches and cleans without damaging the floor beneath.

Bonded to the top is a 2mm high-density EPDM wear layer in solid black, the clean, professional finish that suits any home gym, PT studio or commercial fit-out. EPDM shrugs off the daily abrasion of weight lifting, resists moisture, and wipes clean with a damp rag. Handy after a sweaty Aussie summer session. A premium adhesive locks the two layers together so the mat never peels, bubbles or loses shape.

Both layers are then heat-pressed at high temperature, fusing them into a single inseparable unit. This combination of high-density EPDM top, recycled rubber base, premium adhesive and heat-bonded construction delivers structural integrity, durability and lifespan built to last.
